Mick Daly here!! I am a musician/Manager and Promoter from the Paisley area. I am currently Managing Three acts. Silva www.myspace.com/silvamusik and two acoustic acts Tom Anderson and Lucy and Lewis(websites being developed).
I am also running a few Musical projects Within the Renfrewshire area!! The first is The acoustic sets on a Saturday afternoon from 3pm-7 and every Tuesday from 8pm 12midnight we are against the "Pay to pay policy that seems to be in effect at venues all over the UK. All musicians will be paid. It is as simple as that" If you would like to play at Paisley unplugged Drop me a line folks!!
We promote most musical genres. I am also running The Danny Kyle memorial sessions this year i n memory of Paisley's late folk hero. This event will run from 27thJune until th July 2008 It will take place at various venues throughout the town.
Also on the 22nd november I will be organising The Frankie Miller Tribute In aid of the Drake Project in Scotland This event will host many of Frankies friends who worked with him throughout his career. paisley town hall is the venue that this event will take place. So watch this space!!!!!
Finally I am working on my own Music which I will post asap when I find my way around this site!!!
