hey everyone, apologies for the non existant blog! been quite busy with work, college and new babies but its all good!

ive uploaded a new tune - 'dont let go' over here. pretty much a final mix...might do some tweaking here and there but thats it. ive got a few more in the pipeline so stay tuned..

started recording my album last week. first track is 'dont let go'. its sounding great through neve pre amps and urei compressors and an engineer who actually knows how to use them! ive done a lot of pre production and basic tracking (drums/bass/keys/gtr) in my studio in my NUENDO workstation and importing the tracks to PRO TOOLS in the big studio. the only overdubs im doing are vocals and some ear candy stuff. more to come...

just a quick note.....i am about to start work on my album! as part of the BA course im doing i get to go in and put my tunes (as many as i want) down at the studios in perth college. the rooms and gear are pretty much world class so ill be in good hands.

might take between 6 months to a year but hopefully it will be  cool. i will try and document the sessions so stay tuned. nice not having to worry about producing for once and to just concentrate on the writing/playing side. anyway i plan to have at least a couple of tunes done by dec and uploaded here.

jondi mac here. this is the 5th 'official' jondimac site on the net and probably not the last. ill try to upload my latest tunes here before they go live on the other sites as ive had a relationship with nessmp3 the longest (as part of the macs/gemma mac ). for the next few months, im busy recording my solo thang so stay tuned.
