Roberto Cassani recorded a bunch on new tracks to celebrate the new year. Some of them are available here for free streaming and an Ep is soon to be available for sale at gigs and for worldwide digital download.
The tracks were recorded 'live' in a secret bunker away from civilisation but never too far away from malt whisky and sausage rolls!
Mixing, mastering and all round hard work by my friend Dave Sidley, a geniuos indeed at the glorious Music Shed (get yourselves studio time there at music-shed.com).
Thanks very very very much to my friend Kevin Scanlan and his lovely family.
Meanwhile, a live DVD is on its way and will be ready very shortly, again for sale at gigs and worldwide download. Keep checking for updates.
Have a fantafabulous 2009 folks.
Presenting Roberto Cassani

"If he wasn't amongst us already, somebody would have to invent Roberto Cassani, he's such a blast of fresh air in a tired, self-regarding world." (John Davy - Music News).
Roberto Cassani sings funny stories with a Scottish-Italian accent. Not strictly a comedian, and yet never serious. A bit troubadour, a bit clown from the circus.
A superb songwriter and a master entertainer, Roberto Cassani is cheering up audiences nationally and internationally, as well as getting radio play and featuring in some of the most prestigious music festivals around.
"A true emerging star with side-splitting humour and clever lyrics which will see him firmly in place as a national icon"(Alan Wilson - The Courier);
"A refreshing new talent" (The Edinburgh Fringe Festival);
"True to life, funny and says something different about Britain today." (Woven Wheat Whispers);
"A real original and an unbelievable performer" (Orkney Today);
"Chorus-driven, clap-along fun with personality" (The Herald);
"Absolutely brilliant" (Jim Tait - Shetland Times);
"Cassani Rocks!" (Medicine Music);
"Irresistible!...A real one-off!...Hoorah for Roberto Cassani!" (John Davy - Music News).

Summer is always good to Roberto Cassani, and I'd like to thank everyone who came to the gigs this summer, especially:
- the delicious party people of Orkney;
- the super banter punters of the Wickerman festival;
- and of course my GREAT MATES of Nessmp3.com for the unforgettable experiences at Invergordon and at the Belladrum Festival + Fringe.
Friends, folks: that's what makes the world go 'round.
Thank you

Thank you very much to Nessmp3.com for the fantastic night at the Invergordon Arts Centre. What a great night we had and soon there'll be a DVD to prove it.
The Belladrum Fringe and Belladrum Potting Shed line up where revealed on the night and folks are in for a treat: it's gonna be brilliant!
Thanks to Ayre and Driving North for the great job as supporting acts and great thanks to Toby (Stolen Order) for his fantastically 'nutty' contribution as musical compere.
Super-special thanks to all you "Nessies" for your incredibly hard work behind the scenes: Grazie! Grazie! Grazie!!
