Hi all !!
What a pleasure to play at such an event ! before we came up we knew what to expect at the hoot's fringe as we played last year, but this year was even better, firstly we were booked to play at midnight in the cielidh bar in hootananny's which was awsome because we could move between the three floors and watch most of the act's perform, all were ecxellent and pulled out all the stop's for their show !
at midnightt we had a quick soundcheck and before we knew it the night was over, we could have played on forever lol.
on to the festival it's self and WOW what a fantastic weekend ! everyone and i mean everyone was talking about the potting shed stage, it was totally the best place to be, act after act and no-one was leaving ! the PA was excellent, dave and joe done a fantastic job mixing all the bands and that was an enormous task !! and the weather was great on fri, billy our bass player even got his head burned lol, sat morning the rain came and we thought "just our luck" as we were booked to play at 2.15 pm so we got the wellies on and went up to watch the bands on before us, to be honest the rain settled a wee bit for them but it was still raining unfortunately !! so we get on stage, soundcheck and as soon as we started our first song THE SUN CAME OUT yee hah, to look from the stage at the crowd was amaxzing it was like a big horseshoe crowd an experience we will never forget !
