"The biggest rock gig held in Nairn for years will take place at the community centre on August 1st.

All the five bands performing - Stolen Order, Ketimine Deco, Absence of Presence, Vengeance and These Leaves - all have links with the town.

Tickets for the event - part of the Tartan Heart Fringer Festival - are 5 pound each, with concessions for groups of 10 or more.

All youngsters under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. the doors will open at 7pm.

There will be a chance to win tickets to the Belladrum Festival at the gig, which will also be filmed and sold as a DVD.
